Do you have any good reads where the main characters are twins or multiples?
One of my favourite books is The Devil You Know by Louise Bagshawe. It is about identical triplets separated at birth.
My sister and I always listen to audio books when we drive to Twins Days. Last year we listened to Think Twice by Lisa Scottoline. It was good but not exactly what you want to listen to for a twins getaway weekend....

Again not the happiest of books but it was a good one. Body Double by Tess Gerritson
Here is a link to a Goodreads list with some more.

The main character in Night of the Radishes is an identical twin. Again, a bit of a downer if you have twins in your life--Her twin died in a tragic farming accident in childhood. Her family's inablity to deal with the grief tore them apart, and now as an adult, she's off in search of her long estranged older brother. The search takes her to Mexico--to Oaxaca (where I live). I cried A LOT while reading this--it just hit really really close to home, my girls were babies and for the first time, I thought about what will happen when one day (hopefully in the distant future) one of them loses the other.

I read the Sweet Valley series when I was younger and then read the latest book when you posted about it, Kendra. It's hardly literary greatness, but I loved them so much when I was young!
Stephanie- mom to Alexis and Samantha, wife to Paul.

"It's harder to talk about how crazy in love you are with your kids than playing along with the narrative that parenting is terribly hard. If you decide you want kids, don't do it expecting happiness or exhaustion or perfection or anything at all. Do it expecting your life to be ripped wide open and to keep expanding."-The Rollergiraffe

Some that come to mind:
The Potato Factory/Tommo and Hawk/Solomon's Song by Bryce Courtenay (really only the main characters in Tommo and Hawk)
Cutting for Stone by Abraham Verghese (already mentioned)
When the Lion Feeds/Monsoon by Wilbur Smith
De tweeling by Tessa de Loo

Where the line bleeds by jesmyn ward. I read it a while ago, but IIRC it was a bit slow getting started, but really focused on the twins' relationship and was a great read.
