My twins are finally here!

Here is my story. It's a bit late but you'll probably understand why as you read. On October 16, I was set for induction or c-section and for me it turned out it was going to be a c-section due to baby A being breach and my body being completely done with being pregnant at 38 weeks 5 days. At about 2:00 on the 16th I was prepared for surgery, and despite my immense fear of needles, I had no problem getting two IV's and a spinal. At about 3:00 they finally brought Jonathan into the operating room, and at 3:07 our daughter arrived screaming and wailing. Almost instantly after, her brother arrived at 3:08 with the same vigor. Annika Isabella weighed 7lbs 2 oz and measured 18.75 inches long and Ezra Arthur O'Neil weighed 7lbs and measured 18.5 inches. We all made our way back to our room and by about 4:00 I was breastfeeding the babies.
However, I started to hemorrhage and my doctor was called back in at 10:00 p.m. to check me out. He was able to remove clotting from the uterus and we hoped it would stop the bleeding. The next day I was still bleeding the attending doctor decided to wait to see what happened. However, my uterus was getting larger and finally on Saturday morning I had to have some more extensive and invasive work done to stop the hemorrhaging. This was especially critical since I am a Jehovah's Witness and I won't accept blood transfusions. Fortunately, by 4:00 Saturday afternoon I was feeling much better but my hemoglobin was 'lower than 60' and I was still bedridden. I remained in hospital until Tuesday and when I came home I was on strict orders to not do anything except look after myself and feed the babies. Since I've been home I've had to return to the hospital and my family doctor for other residual issues four times. I went into the hospital weighing 188 pounds and I had lost 48 in a week so my loving family is now helping me try to gain weight!
I am now feeling a bit better and I thought I'd let you all know I have two healthy, content babies who are making it easy on me to rest and take care of myself while brightening my world every moment. I will try and post a couple of photos for you. I hope this works.
