The only thing they may want to culture for would be Herpes,( I havee seen this type of culture done I'm an NP/RN), but what you described does not sound like Herpes lesions.
HTH and I hope they feel better soon.

They may give antibiotics of some kind taht will take care of it, but I almost always say forget it, since I try to give my kids as little of antibiotics as possible, and rubbing grapefruit seed extract (the miracle cure for SO many things) in a water solution on it, it is gone in a day! Ask if you have any questions.
They arrived at 35 wks 1 day!

If they aren't in discomfort, I would maybe try the Lotrimin and Triple Paste for a couple days, then go in if that's not working.

I would definitely get the culture done if they are offering it. Let us know how it turns out - I'm curious. I hope you can get it cleared up soon!

I want to take her in like you but hate the copay for just a rash. They need their second flu shot and an ear infection recheck this week, so I am going to ask about her rash.
