HI I'm stefanie and I just had twin Girls Samantha and Melanie and I gained ***45 pounds*** I really feel awful and although my doc said it's not that bad considering they were pretty good weights I really need to loose it and fast !!! I am looking into the three day diet but because I'm brestfeeding I"m not sure if that would be a good Idea, I would love to do the atkins again but I'm not sure if that's good either cause of the feeding, what would you suggest??

For those who asked, you can find the Weight Loss Charts HERE.

To answer some other questions....

You can post weekly updates, daily updates, whatever you want. We have a daily workout thread. We also have a weekly weigh in thread, that is the thread that I use to update the Weight Loss Chart so make sure you post in that thread to get your progress updated. There are no "rules", just do whatever works for you.

If you want to do measurements for the charts, this should help.

Bust - around the middle of my bust

waist - at my bellybutton

hips - at the widest part of my hips

upper arm - at the middle between shoulder & elbow

thigh - at the middle point (between hip & knee)

I have been doing Weight Watchers for almost 3 weeks and working out at the Y 4 times a week. My stats are:

Current Weight - 179.5
Goal - 150
Stretch Goal - 120

OK, I'd like to join. Not sure exactly how it works. Obviously it's the place for questions and support, but for progress reports...

1. Do we post weekly updates? Where? How?
2. Any other "rules" we're playing by?
3. Where is the weight loss chart? How do I access it?

My stats are:

Beginning of twin pregnancy: 186 (!)
Lowest point after pregnancy: 170 (yippee)
Current weight: 173 Frown
Goal: 160
Stretch Goal: 150

Hi! I just got active with the first year board and saw all the weight loss tickers. I HAVE to get motivated somehow . . . what better way than with all of you? I'm in the same boat as so many of you. I did great with my weight gain during the pregnancy -- only about 40lbs. I lost 30 within 10 days of giving birth (getting them out and a stomach virus helped! LOL). Dropped to a low I hadn't seen in years . . . stopped nursing at 6 months but kept eating as if I were. crying Now I am back up to my highest non-pregnant weight and pushing the limit of my clothes. I REFUSE to buy a bigger size and so I HAVE to do something! Okay, enough rambling.

My stats:
Current weight - 160
Goal - 145
Stretch Goal - 135

I am trying to get from 157 to 135. I have lost 5 lbs already. Boy am I hungry all the time though Frown Yogurts have become my favortie snacks!

Okay, I am officially joining the weight loss forum. I HAVE got to lose some weight! I am at my all time high, and it isn't because of the twins, I lost all of that after they got here, but now I have gained it all back!

Okay I am finally ready to be added on here!I have lost a good deal of the weight already, but am now hitting a plateau where I need to see the progress and get some support. Thanks very much!!!

Ok, I'm finally going to bite the bullet and join this forum. I have been putting it off because I'm BFing and have had some issues with that and my littlest one. But the girlies are 10 months old and still nursing so I think we can make this work. Plus, today DH went to the DR and was told his cholesterol is through the roof, he's overweight and he needs to get healthy or he'll have major problems in the next few years. I did WW 3 years ago and was very successful with it. But then I had 2 miscarriages and then the girlies and ended up putting it all back on, plus some. And even then, one of the biggest challenges was that DH was doing his own thing and not wanting to eat healthy with me. So I feel like this time it's not only important, but we'll be each other's buddies.

Has anyone else done that with their DH and been successful?

Stats? I'm 5'5" and 220 and a size 20. crying Yikes, it hurts to even type that. Don't know measurements, as I have misplaced my fabric measuring tape. Goal weight right now is 160. It's what I was when we got married 9+ years ago. Ideal weight for my build is about 145.

Hi, I'm new at this website - barely a week old. And, reading and posting messages to fellow twin moms for the past few days have made me feel sane again... clapping I wish I knew about the twinstuff forum when I was pregnant & when my twins were hospitalized for 8 weeks. Nevertheless, it's better late than never, right? My current frustration is my weight, so I'd like to join in.......

Welcome Stephanie-allboys, Kristine, and spal (sorry I don't know your "real" name).

Its good to see so many new names join us. As soon as Lisa gets a chance she should have your stats updated on the chart. If you don't see your name added, just send her a note with your stats. She might just have missed a day here.

It sounds like you all have some reachable goals. I'm sorry I can't help with how to get the belly back to what it used to be. Try posting a topic in here and see what some of the other more vetran moms have tried and what worked.
