Hey! Just thought I would stop in and see how everyone is doing!
School is out for the summer so hopefully I will have more time to get on her and check in.
We are supposed to be FINALLY signing papers on our house Monday. I am soooooo excited because we have been waiting for everything to get done for almost 4 months now. QUITE REDICULOUS! And, if it is up to me I will never buy a house again. Anywaym we are supposed to be moving by the end of the month so I really hope we actually get to sign this time. Everytime we go to sign someone has forgotten about some paper or another. We have been waiting on the deed for 3 weeks now.
Anyway, how is everyone doing? Now that I am not in school I have decided to get the courage to potty train the boys at night. Simon is doing GREAT! We have gone 4 nights without any accidents. Bryce has had an accident every other night. For a reward I have been letting them play a Blues Clues preschool game on the computer. It breaks my heart whe I have to tell Bryce he can't play, but hopefully it will be encouragement fo him to stay dry.
The boys have been sneaking into out bed in the middle of the night. Anyone else have this happen? Usually if it is like 6 or so I don't mind because they fall asleep and we get to sleep in that way, but lately it has been 2am by the time I notice they are there. Nights when I can actually get myself to get up and take them back to bed I do, but some nights I just can't get up because I am so tired. Anyway, I hope when we move to our new house it will be easier to put them back in bed. Our apt is so cramped and our bed is pushed by the wall so in order to actually take them back to bed I have to crawl over DH (Who always seems to turn as soon as I am crawling over him and I practically fall out of bed).
Ok, so I am just going on and on so I will stop. I hope you are all doing great!

Hi Sara,
Yes I have the same thing. The twins sneak into our bed in the middle of the night. Sometimes it is 4:00 AM, sometimes a little earlier and sometimes a little later. When it is close to the morning I don't mind either, but sometimes I'm too tired to get them back into bed.

Hey everyone!
So glad the potty training seems to be going well, Sara, and congrats on the house! If the girls get into our bed they are usually up for the day. So far they haven't made it into our bed during the night, thank goodness.

So far, the girls don't climb into our bed. In the middle of the night, they still cry out for us if they get up. They don't usually get out of their room until they're ready to be up for the day, which can be anywhere between 6-7am. Mine would probably wake me up vs. just climbing into our bed; that's what they do when they get up. Alina is almost always up first and she immediately comes to my side of the bed and says 'will you turn on scooby doo for me?' Every morning.
Congrats on finally getting into the house Sara!!!!
Now you can finally get in there and enjoy it and just in time to start planting too! I'm sure the boys will love being able to run and dig in their own yard. Mine are pretty good yard helpers.
Congrats on the bedtime training too!! I'm pretty sure I could stop doing pull ups with the girls at night without too many issues, I just haven't yet. Maybe soon.

Thanks! I will post pics of the house as soon as I can find the time. We just spent the night there Mon and Tues and I am going back tomorrow to try and get some painignt done. It is an hour and a half away so the boys and I will be spending the night up there while DH stays home to work.... yay for him. Right now I am in my apt and In really miss my house. It has so much more space, I can let the boys play outside because I don't have to worry about them getting bit by fire ants, the AC works... I could go on and on! Anyway, I hope Everyone is having a great week so far!
Marcy: That sucks that they still cry in the middle of the night, but you are definitely lucky they aren't crawling in bed with you. Last night, at our house, we were sleeping on the floor (everyone in their own rooms) and I rolled over and saw Bryce smiling from ear to ear. I couldn't help but laugh.

They rarely wake up during the night anymore, so it doesn't bother me that I have to go to them. I think it would scare the crap out of me more to wake up to an unexpected face staring at me.
We always close their bedroom doors and the one closest to us makes a definite sound when you open it, so they can't sneak up on us too much. The couple times that they did come to us during the night, the sound of the door opening scared both Lee and I since we weren't used to it. We both bolted upright and said 'what was that?'

Well, we usually leave our door open so that we can hear when they get up in the am. When we completely move to our house we will put the camera back up in their room so we can see and hear what they are doing. The one time we closed our door we got woke up by a screaming kid trying to get into our room. That was not at all fun.
