I am reading an awesome book right now which has a twin story line: Cutting for Stone by Adam Verghese. Really good!!

I just started reading this last week and I'm having a really hard time getting into it. I want to love it because I have heard great things, but for some reason it's not pulling me in.

I did it by audio book and loved it but if I actually had to read it I think it would have been hard

Ugh, I'm debating jumping ship on this one. 14 chapters in and I'm just pushing myself through it.

I'll give it a few more chapters, but right now I'm feeling like it just the same part of the story told over and over from different points of view. I'm over it....move on to the next part of the story please. http://www.twinstuff.com/forum/public/style_emoticons/default/laughing.gif

I pushed through and finally got to a point where I really enjoyed the book. It turned out to be a great story, but I still didn't care for the beginning.

This Reading Group Guide has a link to an excerpt if you want to peruse it first. I really loved this book. Most of the online reviews were really good for it even if no one else here liked it as much as I did. The story is really good.

I read this and loved it. I got it from the library just in case but ended up really liking the story.
