Gosh, its been forever since I've heard from you all...how is everything going??
The girls are growing like weeds...and talking non-stop. Easter was fantastic, they really enjoyed all the egg hunting. They actually got really tired of it by the time they got home and found a lot of their eggs the next day :) Anyway, things are really good here...hectic as usual. I've hurt my knee and am awaiting an MRI to see if I need surgery, but other than that, things are good!

Hey!
Rachel, I hope everything goes well with your MRI and that you don't need surgery. It is good to hear from you!
Things are going great here! Bryce and Simon will be 4 next week. :bday: I really can't believe how fast they are growing. We are going to have a party with some of their friends from pre-k! They can't wait and have been talking about it for over a month now. We had a blast at Easter! This is our first Easter in our own home and we had an egg hunt in our back yard with our neighbor and her kids. It was so much fun.
;) The boys are doing so well in pre-k! They can spell all of their colors, know the sounds to all of their letters, and count to 100! :woo: Simon is actually reading! He likes to read and write anything he can. It is so cute. Bryce is almost reading too but he would rather goof off and make people laugh than show how smart he is, but it is ok with me as long as he is learning what he needs to learn.
Anyway, it is so beautiful out this week. I was able to lay out in the sun and relax for an hour before I had to pick the boys up from school. It is so nice to be able to relax even if it is for a short time. I am really loving this age! Bryce and Simon finally learned how to ride their bikes before winter so I was able to take them for a long bike ride yesterday! We went three miles and when we got home they wanted to go again. :woah: Well, I better go. It was good to hear from you Rachel.

Everything is good here. We just got back from a vacation in WI Dells. We went with another family and had a very nice time. It wasn't always relaxing with four kids, but we had fun. We got the girls a swingset a couple weeks ago, so they've spent a lot of time out there lately. We got one of the inexpensive wooden ones, still a lot of money to me, but well worth it already!
We kept them out of 3 yr old preschool this year, so they'll just be starting 4 yr preschool in the fall. We visited the classroom last month, so they're really excited about starting school.
We're pretty sure Alina has allergies though. A week or so ago she started rubbing her eyes everytime she'd come in from playing outside. They get red, itchy, a little goopy and she gets a little congested after being out. Pollen counts, etc. are horrible here, so that doesn't help. She had almost no issues when we were up in WI. The doctor's office said to give her children's claritin and some eye drops for kids. I think we may take her in to get her looked at though, after playing outside yesterday, she looked awful, poor thing!
Good to hear from everyone!

Aw, poor girl allergies stink! My guys have allergies too. Simon gets so bad that his asthma starts acting up and we end up having to give him Claratin (he hates it), mucinex, and his breathing treatments. If I don't stay on top of things he ends up in the hospital :(
So glad you had a good vacation! I think we are going to take a vacation at the end of summer this year since I am so busy with classes until then. I am hoping to graduate at the end of summer and then start the teaching program in the fall, but that all depends on if I pass my entrance interview next week. And, of course, I have to pass my classes. :)
Where did you get your swingset? I have been thinking maybe this summer or next about getting one but have to talk Ross into it first.

We got the girls swing set from Toys R Us. They were the only place around here that had any set up to actually look at in person. Its only been up a couple weeks, but so far we're happy with it.
