Do you have a favorite non-wool yarn that you like to use? I enjoy knitting them, but it seems most of the yarns are at least 50% wool. That works out great for me since I tend to have cold feet through the winter. My dh likes the socks, but he wouldn't mind a little less wool in the thread. I have patterns for both sock weight yarn and worsted weight yarn.

You can use cotton sock yarn. It usually is a blend with something else to give it a little stretch, though. I think knitpicks.com has some.
