Why did LMFAO have to be on American Idol? they were horrible and they were blocked at least 3Xs for language (I imagine). My children asked me to mute the TV. Do people really think they are talented? How did they become famous? That was terrible

Craig and I were watching and thought they were fun. Fun party music which I think is their aim. Plus they are Barry Gordy's son and grandson so well connected in the music biz.

I find their videos funny(I've seen them on youtube when the girls are at school). That said.....I would be very upset if my girls heard it. Some kids at school sang snatches of "Sexy & I Know It".....they were sent to the principal's office & told to knock it off. Shocker - I love dance clubs....they make fun music to dance to.

That's the problem with mainstream entertainment (like Idol) you are going to see things you don't like.

They are fun! Nothing like dancing to their music. I do think they are talented. My kids are going to hear bad words in their lifetime.

It definitely gave them the connections to get started but I think people really like them because they are just fun (and funny) party music,

Ok, I didn't know who they were for the longest time (yes I live under a rock and NPR on my radio). My neighbor showed my girls the video for Sexy and I Know It (what ever it is called). I was SHOCKED at the video, but needless to say, my kids LOVE it. Jimmy Falon did a spoof w/Bruce Springsteen and DH recorded for the girls. My kids play the show over and over and know the song by heart. It is fun music and it makes me laugh...

I didn't see the performance, but I do like their music, it's fun.

And I can't get my 7 year old to stop singing "I'm Sexy and I Know It". She doesn't get the true meaning of "sexy", just thinks it means pretty.
