It's actually the third season but we didn't watch either of the first two seasons. Well one show in and we're hooked. I could care less about fashion but I liked the aspiring designers (actually they're all pretty established to begin with as designers but they're trying to hit the big time with this show) and I liked the first challenge (they had to design a dress from materials found in their luxury NYC apartment they're living in while taping the show).
Episode 2 is on Bravo tonight and they're also repeating the first episode. I imagine Bravo will repeat it during the week too, plus you can go to their website to see the episodes if you want.
Anyone watch it or like the show?

I love this show. It is about 4 weeks behind in Canada though. (our Bravo is different from the American one) I do read the recaps on televisionwithoutpity though.
There was a British version too called Project Catwalk with Liz Hurley hosting. Shes actually being replaced for the second season by Kelly Osborne. (in the first season the designers had to design a party dress for her)(now whos the reality TV nerd?)

Kendra, you need to get online and download the entire show to your iPod. You have an iPod, I assume (doesn't everyone besides me own one by now?).

About the effeminate deal. On the second season (the ep where they had to make outfits using clothing) they showed work room chatter about how the guys came out to their families. It was interesting.

I pride myself on actually picking the winner last season during the first episode. Really, it's kinda strange because it was her stuff I liked the most, and I was surprised Chloe made it that far.
This season I love Robert Best (I think that was the name)- he did the Barbie doll stuff I think? He showed a dress from a previous line during the pre show show and it was so so so cute.
This season, though, is already missing Santino. He was the best part of last year- so hilarious.

I loved the episode where they modernized classic fashion icons (Audrey Hepburn, Jackie Kennedy, Twiggy, Katherine Hepburn, Cher). I can't believe some of them came up with such fantastic ideas in such a short amount of design time.

"I felt that I was literally standing on a plateau somewhere out there in space that science and technology had allowed me to get to. But now what I was seeing, and even more importantly what I was feeling, science and technology had no answers for. Because there I was and there was the Earth -- dynamic, overwhelming. And I felt that the world has too much purpose, too much logic...it was just too beautiful to have happened by accident. There has to be somebody bigger than you and bigger than me. And I mean this in a spiritual sense, not a religious sense. There has to be a creator of the universe that stands above the religions that we ourselves create to govern our lives."

I was in Wal-Mart yesterday, and passing by the girls' department, I spotted an outfit that looked familiar. I realized it is pretty much the exact same outfit Angela designed -- the one that got in the Macy's window -- in a little girl's size! Short black tailored jacket, long-sleeved light T-shirt underneath, and black cropped pants. The only thing missing were the little rosettes!
