The last few days Baby B's heart rate has been decelerating when he moves. Not so much that the doctors were concerned, until last night. Shortly after I got home from visiting my wife (desolation_anonymous) at the hospital she called to tell me that she was being moved to the labor and delivery room to monitor Baby B, and that she wanted me there as she was a bit anxious. When I got there she was being prepared for a cesarean. I got there around 9:45. By 10:15 she was in the operating room.
 
Alexander Clarence was born at 10:50. He weighed in at 5 lbs 9 oz
Nikola Kenneth was born at 10:51. weighing in at 4 lbs 15 oz

Alexander (Baby A) is in the NICU, the doctors believe he inhaled a bit of amniotic fluid during the deliver.
Nikola (Baby B)is in the regular nursery… turns out he had his cord wrapped around his neck… twice.


Updates and pictures will follow… eventually… after we’ve had a chance to get a little sleep.

Congratulations on your boy! clapping.gif Sounds like it was good to deliver with Nikola's cord wrapped around his neck. I hope Alexander's NICU stay is short. Please visit the NICU forum for any support you need during his stay.
