Woo hoo! We have our babies! banana.gif Since I am recovering from hand surgery, I'll copy & paste our website journal entry as written by my partner:

"Zachary and Delaney have made their arrival. They were born on Monday 9/22/08. Zachary was born first, at 6:57pm, weighing 5 lbs. 10 oz. and 18 1/2 in. long. Delaney arrived at 7:22pm, weighing 5 lbs. 10 oz. and 19 in.

Susan checked into the hospital on Sunday morning. With the love and support of Aunt Annie and our good friend Lora (Aunt Lo), we made it through a long labor. Zachary was born naturally with only ten minutes of pushing. Delaney however, tried to chase her brother out arm first. The doctor got her arm back in. She wasn't too thrilled about that so she threw her umbilical cord out. Unfortunately when that happens the baby has the potential to get wedged in the birth canal, clamping off the cord and oxygen supply causing brain damage. So, she was born by emergency C-Section. After recovery and getting babies and mom stabilized and monitored we went off to the family birthing center, where we spent four days getting mom recovered enough and babies stabilized and on the right track to go home. We had fabulous nurses, doctors and lactation specialists that made everything go as smoothly as possible."

The expecting forum was great help, looking forward to learning more in first year smile.gif

Thanks,
Susan
Born at 36 weeks 4 days, no NICU stay!

Zachary Stuart: 5# 10 oz, 18.5"

Delaney Aspen: 5# 10 oz, 19"
