We are due with twin girls in May and we are stuck on names!! My DH and I have been going back and forth on girl names forever and have not had a clue at all..... Our son's name is Atticus. Our Family name is pronounced like Wayne.

Do you have any suggestions of non-popular classic names that go with Atticus?

    Thanks!

Thanks! I fell in love with the name Atticus the first time I heard it. So it was easy to name my boy and that made me had a false impression that naming babies is not that hard, but, you know, my brain hurts...

I think Atticus is a very strong, powerful and intelligent name, and very masculine-sounding.I think it's a bold choice, but I like its meaning and Atticus Finch is a strong, moral character. So that's a plus.

Love the name Atticus! We are naming our B/G twins (due in June) Atticus and Beatrix :) If we were to have G/G twins, they would have been Hazel and Olive... I'm sad we'll never be able to use those names now because we are done after this :(

    Good luck on your names!

Like Atticus. Sounds very Greek. Spent a lot of time looking at Greek names before my twin granddaughters were born because my daughter wanted to honor her husband's Greek heritage.

I Like the A B C idea so here are a couple of Greek names beginning with B and C

    Berdina
    Brionna
    Bryani

    Cacia
    Callista
    Cyrena

My fav two are Bryani and Callista.

    Goodluck with the names

I like Lysane, as someone mentioned before.

Here's a few I came across as being 'classic' sounding and non popular:

    Leora
    Persephone
    Danica
    Cassandra
    Helena
    Nerissa
    Vanessa

I have to add Venus. That's the first one that popped into my head to go with Atticus, which I love! Good luck on your quest for the perfect names.

  32. I was a vet nurse before I had kids and we had a pair of cats that used to come into the clinic sometimes called Atticus and Storm. I always thought that the names went well together.
