    I cannot believe it's June already!

    Yesterday-day off from has fit and 33 minutes on the elliptical and 27 minutes on the bike
    Today- has fit week 5, day 5 and bike/elliptical combo at the gym

    I will have DH do measurements tonight.

    Hasfit week 5 day 5. I took Friday and Saturday off.

    :facepalm: I forgot to have DH do my measurements last night!

    Today I will do has fit week 5 day 6 (I think it's the plyometric one) and a workout on you tube.

    last night i did hasfit week 5 day 6. I was on auto pilot for the warm up. I don't remember doing the ab twist

    Hi ladies! I have completed the first four weeks of the Insanity workout. Currently I am doing the 1 week cardio core and balance workout then head straight to the second part of the torture program.
    I lost a total of 2 lbs. I am 132 lbs (that's what the scale at the doctor's office said yesterday) and would love to lose another 2 lbs. So far I feel great about this program.

    Yesterday I walked for about 1/2 an hour then did sit ups and reverse sit ups.

    Today I tried to do something I wouldn't admit to just anybody. :blush: I rented a Dancing With the Stars exercise video and I am just as uncoordinated as I ever was. After the Paso Double and attempting the Cha Cha, I threw in the towel. On the upside I did sweat a bit. Tomorrow I'm doing straight up Jillian Michaels- she makes me sweat and I have mastered a jumping jack! :lol:

    Today is has fit week 6 day 1 and probably the bike at the gym. I weighed myself yesterday and I am down a 1/2 lb. :woo:
    Gigantor-:banana: for feeling good doing the Insanity program and being down 2 lbs!
    Michelle-How do you do a reverse sit up? I've done some of those Dancing With the Stars workouts and they are good ones. There used to be one on demand with our cable company that I liked to do (and I cannot remember the dancing pro's name that did it) but then our cable company changed the exercise programs they had on demand. We lost Jillian too. She's a tough cookie.

    The reverse sit up is for the pooch- lay down legs together and bent at the knee, feet flat on the floor, arms at your side. You lift up with your abs, breathing out on the up.

    I also like the Hasfit sit-up where you reach to the sky.

    I can't get anything on demand either anymore- but my DirecTV lets me access YouTube

    Sounds like fun! Thanks for answering me about the reverse sit up, I think I did do them before.

    Today is has fit week 6 day 2 and a body works class.

    Last night I did hasfit week 6 day 1 (which the 1/2 half was a killer for me) followed by the bike.

    Meh. He got a tiny rock in his eye which resulted in flushing it out with the help of security, calling the ped... It was a mixed bag buy I think they had fun.

    Today I'm going to walk a few miles and run a bit along the way.

    Today is either going to be has fit week 6 day 3 and zumba, or just zumba
    Tomorrow, if I don't do has fit today, I will do that tomorrow and bike/elliptical combo
    Sunday will be has fit week 6 day 4 and zumba...depending on how I feel after DD's recital.

    This weekend is recital weekend and she has 3 performances, one on Saturday night and two on Sunday.

    yesterday was my off day of the week. Tonight will be hasfit week 6 day 2. Nancy how was that one?

    I am taking a day off today and tomorrow I start max interval training (2nd month).

    Quick update: OMG! This second month is not for the faint hearted for sure! I really, really had to push myself to finish the first day of the second month of the Insanity. If I can do this, it'll definitely deliver big results. But, it'll not be easy.

    Update for the weekend:
    We survived recital weekend, three performances killed me. Not my daughter.
    Friday, I did zumba
    Saturday, I did both has week 6 days 3 and 4 back to back. I learned that you probably should not do that. I can still barely walk today :laughing:
    Sunday-off, was too busy with 2 recital performances
    Today- walking workout on youtube.

    Today I will do has fit 30 minute ultimate warrior workout (and prepare to die). I will go to the gym when DH gets home and do 30 minutes on the bike as well. This is a tough week for me to get to the gym due DH working the late schedule this week.

    Sunday I wound up skipping the workout, unless I count the rollerblading with my girls because I did not feel well. Still did not feel great last night but forced myself to do the 30 minute warrior part 3. I did skip the burpees (after the first round- figured being dizzy and passing out was not worth it)

    thank you for asking...I'm dying-:), I did day three...it took all my will to do it, but halfway into the program I felt better about it. Tomorrow is stretching, so it'll be a little "easier".

    How did you like the ultimate warrior workout? It is a very good one.

    Lisa, I hope you are feeling better :hug: Burpees are not worth passing out over!
    Gigantor-The Ultimate Warrior workout was a tough one, I really struggle with the push-ups and especially the ballistic ones :faint:
    Today is has fit week 7 day 2 and the gym-either the bike or elliptical, depending on what's open when I get there.

    Today is has fit week 7 day 3 and possibly body works class at the gym-that will depend on what time DH gets home from work and how bad the weather is tonight. If I can't make the class then I will find another workout to do on you tube.

    Last night was week 7 day 1.
    I'm hoping it is not raining this afternoon so i can do the running outside, i'll make my girls run with us.

    It may be slightly tricky getting my workouts in this week. My FIL and his wife are flying in tonight for a visit. Figure DH and I will workout tonight before we go pick them up from the airport. They are spending friday with my BIL's so that day will be fine. Saturday has to be our off day, between soccer (last game and festiva) and girls dance recital and a brownies daddy daughter dessert (girls want to go, i want them to skip). Sunday is father's day, FIL will still be here along with maybe my parents in the morning than my BILs in the afternoon.
    FIL is staying till friday afternoon, so will have to factor that in to my workouts.

    Day 5 of month 2 of the Insanity workout. I unfortunately had pizza for dinner and this hour workout was really tough (although it is tough regardless).
    Nancy: push-ups are hard, especially for us, women, it works on all of our muscles especially your chest and shoulders. My arms were very weak when I started them but with time they got much stronger. Yours will too!

    Tonight DH and I did the interval walk run outside. We timed it for 32 minutes, then did another 10 minutes after since girls found some friends bike riding so they had to ride iwht them as well. Didn't matter that they had already rode for almost 1/2 hour.

    I forgot how much I love running outside, just need to either get DH on board with it or do it without him.

    :thanks: Gigantor. Push ups are always an exercise I struggle with. But I do notice the longer I have been doing the has fit challenge, I am able to get down a little further each time.

    Today is zumba ( I hope, depends on when DH gets home. Yesterday he was stuck in traffic and I didn't get to go to the gym) and a has fit day off for me. If I don't make zumba then I will hit the gym.
