I was going to take both girls to daycare today so I can pack up my house. We are moving next week. One girl has a spots on her belly and chest only. They got the chicken pox vaccination on the 14th. The paper they gave me said they can get a mild rash up to a month after but it is rare they are contagious. What do you think?

You need to call your pedi. If nothing else, they need to confirm whether or not it is chicken pox and report such reactions. They will also be able to tell you if it's a reason to keep her home from daycare. I know it's probably not the answer you want, but in this case I think it's what you need to do.

I agree with Rachael, I would call your pedi to have them check it out.

one of my girls got reddened raised spots that i thought were ant bites but didnt go away, and i called the pedi, and they said it was a common reaction to the chicken pox vaccine and was harmless.
