a new room!

    It's not often that I'm overly proud about things I accomplish, but this time I am!!

    When I was preggers, we decided to stick with a neutral room for the girls and decided we would change it over when they went to beds. So now's the time to make the change. I went shopping for everything I needed to makeover their room last week and this week I spent painting and cleaning and then putting together their new room. I had a picture of what it would look like and it came out just like that. :woohoo:

    First night was a success!! Of course, they were super tired because who knew it would take 1.5 HOURS to put the flippin bedrails together?! :grr:
    Emma fell out once, which made my heart skip a beat when I heard it, but other than that, no noises, nothing!! I'm sure naptime might be interesting, but I was more worried about nighttime sleeping.

    Beautiful room! I love it!

    Please update on naptimes! I plan to switch mine over this summer (hhhmmm, maybe I'll wait a few months after summer, LOL).

    Michelle, you should feel VERY proud! Not only is it absolutely girly girly beautiful but the smiles on the girl's faces are priceless. They are so gorgeous!! Most of all, they look so happy and that's what it's really all about, right? ;)

    We got the mattresses at BJ's and the headboards at Jordan's Furniture. They were inexpensive and are well made!!

    GREAT JOB!!!!! We are about to move and when we do, I am putting the twins in twin beds - I am more nervous about that than the 900mile move! Thanks for giving me hope!!

    Ya know, it really hasn't been that bad. Naps leave a little something to be desired, but I'm okay with it. I figure if they are tired enough, eventually they will fall asleep. Nighttime has been an absolute breeze. They do get up as soon as I shut the door, but I only left stuffed animals and a few books in there, so there isn't much to do or get into. They are back in bed and asleep within 30 minutes. :good:
