Best Double Jogging Stroller???

I'm wondering what the best doble jogging stroller would be? I can order on-line from Walmart and have a friend pick it up in Florida for me and bring it home(to Canada). There are a few listed but I'm not sure what the best one would be...what are your opinions for whoever has one....I would like to use it for walks outside and jogging, plus an indoor mall stroller when needed.

I bought this one InStep last Spring based on suggestions form this board and I absolutely love it. It is my most used stroller. I highly recommend it!

 

Can't tell you which is best, but I am borrowing another twin mom's stroller and it's a Schwin and it is AWESOME! I love it.

 

I love love love my Valco! Pricey but so worth it.

 

We love our Mountain Buggy Urban Double. I doubt they sell them at Walmart though -- they are pricey (we got ours used). I'm also not sure they are really good for actual jogging -- the front wheels normally swivel, and although you can lock them, they are still not as stable as a regular jogging stroller with one large fixed front wheel would be. The MB is more of an SUV as opposed to a sportscar.

 

I can second the recommendation for the Instep Jogger. We got it used from my SIL - and pretty beat up. But it's going strong.

But if money were limitless, I would get this Phil & Ted stroller. It converts from a single to double. Great for shopping because it's narrow. Friends of ours have one and love it.

 

We have the Schwinn double jogger and love it! The front swivel wheel is a must in my opinion!

 

I love my Bob Revolution Duallie. The front wheel swivels or locks in place. I think what ever stroller you choose you should make sure it has that feature since it is dangerous to jog with a swivel wheel and a pain in the neck to walk with a stationary wheel. Good luck in your quest!

We are avid runners and we bought the Dreamer Design Ditto. But if I had the kids right now I would have purchased the BOB Revolution Duallie. It does have both types of wheels and you need the stationary front wheel for jogging. At the time of our girls, the BOB did not have individual canopies. The Dreamer only did. But now the BOB has individual canopies. THat was the most important for me. The canopies also came way down in front. I still use my Dreamer at 3 years. If you are going to use it a lot, invest in a good one!!

My husband and I are avid runners and wanted something lightweight for our long-training runs. We love our Baby Jogger Performance Double. It has a stationary front wheel so its super easy to push while running (doesn't take tight corners very well though), its light also, so with the added weight of two babies it doesn't slow you down too much. The 20 inch wheels make for a pretty smooth ride as well.

 

I bought the InStep Mall Cruiser and LOVE it. It was affordable, breaks down very easy and is comfy for the kids....and my 4 year old sits on the thing in the front. I bought it from Mystrollers.com or something like that!

 

We have four strollers and the Mountain Buggy was the best money we have spent on anything for the babies. You can't go wrong with this stroller. Good Luck!

 

I LOVE LOVE LOVE my Instep Safari TT!! Front wheel even swivels 180 degrees!!! LOVE IT!!

 

We LOVE our B.O.B Dually Revolution. It fits through standard doors, has a lock-able front wheel that also swivels. It turns on a dime and is opened with one hand. It has sweet hydraulic shocks and nearly floats.
It is pricy - we paid $700 for ours (taxes in as well as a parent consul) but it was well worth it! We don't have a Mall here, but we use it for normal walks in and out of small stores. I have gone in an out of the small 7-11 near out house, without even having to get someone to hold the door for me.

I am also in Ontario - 20 minutes from London. I called M.E.C (Mountain Equipment Co-Op) in T.O and they quoted me a price of $599 and free shipping. I called a store in London and got them to match the price, so we could check it out 1st (with MEC, we would have had to order it without seeing and trying it)
I have seen prices cheap online in the US...and if you had a friend to order it and bring it to you, that would be a deal!

Our is bright orange and we get comments about it all the time!
Oh...the front wheels also can quickly we popped off for even small storage. And it is lighter than our Per Perego Double Stroller.
