Beta values?

Hope you guys don't mind me intruding on your board - we're not sure if it will be twins or just one at this point. The nurse keeps suggesting twins, based on my betas, but my u/s isn't until 12/22.

10 dpo: 33
11 dpo: 58
13 dpo: 180
17 dpo: 1505

she said that while the numbers weren't *that* high that they doubled fast. she said that the #s correlated w/ multiples, but it could just be one healthy bean, too. does anyone have their betas from this early in pregnancy? if it *were* twins, would i be feeling any different @ this point in my pregnancy than i did w/ my 2 singles? at 4w5d i'm sorta poochy (my clothes don't fit) but that could easily just be bloating. my usual ms hasn't hit yet, but it doesn't usually until 6-8 weeks anyway, sooooooooo.....

At 17dpo (14dp3dt) my beta was 1310.

But, I have a friend whose beta at the same time frame was 1500+, and she was PG with just a singleton.

Beta numbers are very individual...GL!

 

At 14 dpo, mine was around 600 and at 16 dpo it was about 1200. But even though they were pretty high, the nurse said you can't really base a lot on that alone. Like the pp said, the numbers are very individual.

I was pg with quads.

I had another multiple pg and the numbers at 12dpo were 200 something.

I have numbers from my pg, my sil and a good friend also had twins and I have there numbers are well. As you can see there is a lot of variation.

With this pg I am now 13w3d and both babies are measuring 3-6 days big so even though my betas weren't crazy high, both babies are doing great.

This pg:
13 dpo = 127
16 dpo = 362
19 dpo = 959

My friends twins:
12 dpo = 36
14 dpo = 94
16 dpo = 317
21 dpo = 2000

My SIL twin pg:
13 dpo = 230
16 dpo = 927
18 dpo = 1998
20 dpo = 6497

at 20dpo mine was 5000 but it can vary greatly from person to person!

Wow ladies! Thanks for the info - guess we'll see -ultrasound is 12/22. There is a fairly strong family hx on my side, and a fairly strong family coicidence in hubby's family (everyone w/ 3 kids has 4 - EVERYONE - male or female related - has twins on their 3rd pregnancy - we're talking something like 25 sets of twins!)

anyway, i'll just have to wait for my us to see .

hey again

i had another beta d/t spotting @ 20 dpo: 4416. The nurse ordered an ultrasound after speaking w/ the docs for 12/5. She said "I'm not guaranteeing its more than one, but I'd bet it probably is, so we want to do an ultrasound to make sure."

i'll only be 5w and a few days - not sure what we'll see, but there it is guess i'll know in a few more days.
