My b/g twins are in the same class at school ( 20 pupils) and at this stage all the kids still get invited to birthday parties.  What do you buy for birthday gifts that are not too expensive.

I usually do a 20.00 gift card to Toys R Us.  I figure 10.00 from each of my children.  Now my daughter is invited, solo, to a birthday party next weekend, so our gift will be around 10.00--we might do an art gift bag or something.

I've done gift cards to a local toy store or the bowling alley or other fun activity (movies, ice skating, etc).  For 5 year olds I've also done a game, playdoh, arts and crafts kit (age appropriate).  I don't spend more than $20-$30 depending on how well my girls know the kid (so between $10-$15 per twin for the gift).

I love going to 5 below and picking out 3/4 craft things.

Thanks, I love these ideas. I am normally so boring.

Kids Smartwatch will be the best idea. I have recently gifted VTech smartwatch to my neighbor's kid and he loved it very much.
