DNA Testing

    We believe that our boys, who are 3 years old, are identical but just for fun would like to know for sure. We requested that the placenta be tested when they were born but due to an emergency C-Section the Dr. forgot to do so.
     
    It doesn't really matter but we would like to do it just for fun.
     
    Any suggestions on a fast/affordable/reliable place to have this test done? I am assuming a guy could do it via mail now days.

    Use Proactive Genetics. They're a sponsor at Twinstuff (have been for several years) and have great prices and good turn around.

    ShortstackJo is doing one right now, too!

    Here's what I've read and what I believe to be true- if you think they might be identical, they are. :)

    I think I used Proactive. They were around $100 and I got an email with all of the info back in a couple of weeks. It was pretty simple- you swab the inside of the babies cheek and put it in a marked envelope. Send it in and there you go.
