Do you own your own business?

I'm wondering how many of us own our own businesses? Do you have any resources you love for learning about business, marketing, etc?

 

I dont...but my husband is a partner with 3 other guys in a medical/chiropractic/physcal therapy clinic.  He manages it and does the marketing as well. 
He sets up meetings with other local doctors/practices and works mostly off referals for marketing and generating new patients. 
 
How is your business going? 

 

It's going well! I'm at the point now where I really want to develop my practice into my full time work as Emmett has just turned 3 and will be starting preschool in the fall. I don't know much about marketing or business per se though so am trying to learn as I go.

 

we just started our own insurance agency.  The business development is actually mostly managed by Farmers - they give Tony the tools he needs to market his business (and pay for part of it as well...)
