    Hey all,
We are jumping over from the 1st year's for a minute to see what the average number of Dr. visits is for year 2. we are trying to plan for my flex dollars from work and wondering what the average is for year two.

I see where you're trying to budget in for your health care. That's very smart. It is like pp have stated...anually after they hit 2 years old. But since you've trying to budget for sick calls and the unexpected. I'd say maybe 3 or at the worst 4 vists per child a year. They won't probably get as sick over the summer months but could and might get sick a couple of times during winter months. It's kinda hard to say. I'd say buget for the worst case senerio and you can always roll your money over from year to year if it goes unspent.
Good luck and here's hoping they stay happy and healthy.

Are they going in to daycare? If so add extra for the many extra colds etc. they will get from their initial exposures to multiple children! On the bright side, once that happens they will have a better resistance when they hit school :)!

Ours doesn't roll over so we go with the number of well-child visits and add one other visit for each. We also had 12/15/18/24 but some doctors don't do the 15.

Mine are nearly 18 months, and boy do I wish there was a well visit between 18 and 24 months!!
I actually like the doctor checking them over to make sure they are on track, developmentally, etc. I know I can always bring them in for a sick visit, but I like having the professional set of eyes, know what I mean? Or am I the only neurotic one here :p

My girls had their 2yr check up and will have another at 2.5 and then again at 3. I think after that it is annual. I have also been back already for flu shots and since september I think I have been there at least 5 times between colds, croup, ear infection and the latest an amoxicillin rash.
