For anyone who has the Jeep lion or puppy backpack harnesses...

    For anyone who has the Jeep lion or puppy backpack harnesses... Do they actually function as a backpack as all? Is there a zipper and at least enough space for small toys, etc?

    What is the age range that can wear them?

    I have the Eddie Bauer ones... and the backpack is pretty much a stuffed animal... though there is a little pocket w/elastic along the top... not much room, maybe for a very small toy or paci... not sure about the Jeep brand.

    I also have the Eddie Bauer ones and I agree with Maybell, it's big enough to store a couple of small items. Our backpacks have adjustable straps, so I think our kids might be able to wear them until they are 3ish or 4.

    No, they are not at all real backpacks. There's enough room in there for a small toy (a few inches across) but that's it.
