Well, the birthday day is almost over! The girls are in bed, and I guess now my dh and I have to clean up the mess!

We had a great day. The girls got a ton of clothes and toys and money - way more than I expected. We had about 15 people over, mostly family. It was a lot of fun. We did a Noah's Ark theme.

I attached a couple of pictures of the girls moments after being born and then when they were about a week old and still in the special care nursery. There's also one of their cake, one of them in their party dresses, and then one of each of them eating their cake. They loved the cake! Of course we had to put them in the bathtub after they were done eating it!

It's so weird to think that at this time last year the girls were only about 4 hours old. I went in on February 16th to be induced because of very low amniotic fluid in Bella's sac. They started pitcoin at 6 a.m. on the 17th at which time I was 2 cm dialated, and the girls were born at 3:01 p.m. and 3:07 p.m. You can see in the picture of Bella that she was born with clubbed feet and dislocated hips - she kind of looked like a pretzel! But after many casts and special boots and one surgery you would never know that she ever had those problems. She isn't walking or crawling yet, but she is finally putting all of her weight on her legs. Hopefully she'll be walking by about 18 months. Josie isn't crawling yet either, but she's close! I would guess by her original due date of March 30th she'll be moving.
