How are moderators chosen?

    I've been on here for over five years and I have always wondered how moderators were chosen?

    Also, does anyone hear from becky5 anymore? I miss her!

    When we have an opening we consult a magic 8 ball. ;) That or we choose someone who is active and helpful in the forum that has an opening.

    Yes, she's doing great. :)

    I miss the Den sometimes too, but then I remember how my blood would get to boiling and I often felt like I was :headbang: so I just stick with Twinstuff Club for now! :ibiggrin: But I'm here if you ever want to chat.

    So is it the 8 Ball or the Sorting Hat? Maybe there is a giant Zolton machine that cranks out names!

    Like Jenny said, we just look for people who are supportive and active on the forums that have openings.

    Most of us agitators aren't there any more.

    Some of the mod selections have been head scratchers for sure.

    Awwwh thanks!

    I would love to be a moderator but don't think the magic 8 ball or sorting hat would ever pick me, I know it is hard to believe but in the past I have been a little emotional in my posts. :laughing:

    I don't believe it for a second.

    I thought that mods were chosen by tea leaves but maybe I'm thinking of the wrong sort of leaves.

    :rofl: We like to mix it up a bit...sometimes it's the hat...sometimes we use the leaves...and other times we put ppl's names on a Roulette wheel and just spin it around a few times and see where it lands! :laughing:

    No need to beat around the bush, ladies. I think we can admit that mods are chosen after consulting with an augur who sacrifices an animal and then interprets its entrails.

    Simple and straightforward IMO.
