How far apart did you have your twins?

[SIZE=12pt]I just got to thinking about how far apart I had my girls (less than a minute, they were both born at 7:02 PM) and was wondering how far apart everyone had theirs. Also how did you have them: c-section or vaginal birth? I had mine via c-section.
I had someone tell me that it was impossible to have them in the same minute even with an emergency c-section. That is why it made me curious.

I think most Dr.'s when doing a C-sec try to give each baby their "own minute", but I could be wrong. I had mine vaginally and they were born 16 mins. apart.

I've heard that too. I had 2 doctors performing surgery and one almost didn't make it, so they were just in a hurry to get her out to "revive" her. Otherwise, I think they would have been at least a minute or two apart.

  6. MLH is right. My girls got their own minute at 342 and 343...

Vaginally and 7 minutes. Both girls received "assistance". For the second there was tons of (painful) pushing by the doctors on the outside of my stomach and I think they vaccuumed both a little, too.

Vaginal and 4 minutes apart (breech extraction on Baby B, so I didn't have to do much ... they pulled him out and I pushed once for the head).

Vaginal 21 Minutes apart. Faith 7:54am and Thomas 8:15am . Apparently after his sister was out and made more room for him he figured he'd get comfortable and stay a bit longer.

C-section and it was recorded as 6:08 and 6:09 a.m. I don't remember it thanks to the drugs and exhaustion, makes me sad when I think about it. :(
