    • when I was 2 my family went to Mexico (we lived 20 miles from Mexico in Texas) and a guy offered to buy me from my dad. I was a blonde haired, blue eyed little girl and he really wanted me.
    • My step-mom and step-dad use to be married to each other. My step siblings are the same on both sides.
    • I am either the youngest of eight, eighth out of nine, 10 out of 12 or 10 out of 13 kids depending on how you look at it. (I have a half-sister on my dad's side and 4 step siblings).
    • I am very very afraid of lady bugs. I once called into work because I couldn't leave my house due to that fact that there were lady bugs swarming outside my house.
    • I think feet are the grossest things. :bad:
    • One of my dreams is to open a bakery.
    • I do not like male doctors one bit.
    • Herbert Hoover was a second cousin to my grandmother. Other than that I don't have any famous relatives that I know of.
    • Some of my mom's anscestors were gypsies.

That is the neatest thing! Do they find it neat too?

I wanted to add.. famous relatives:
Evelyn "Champagne" King is my first cousin on my dad's side.
BB King is a relative like twice removed or something again on my Dad's side.
Martin Luther King is a relative however he is removed more times than it counts but Dad is closer than I am obviously.
My Grandmother on my Mom's side had relatives that came over on the Mayflower then settled in Puerto Rico.

    More interesting things:
My husband and I traveled in the same social circles when we were married to other people but we never met. When we started dating everyone was confused since they knew us with different spouses.
I was named after Erica Kane on All My Children and Tiffany from One Life To Live. My DAD is a huge Soap Opera fan.
My son Nick is a car genius and since the age of 18 months he can name every make, model and horse power of EVERY car manufactured US and abroad.
I was on the Ananda Lewis show with my xh.
My twins were conceived nine days after we were married. I told dh he had "old sperm" and I guess he wanted to prove a point...

I think that's all the public secrets I'll share. This is a ton of fun!

I lived in Cairo for a year teaching English, during which time I travelled a lot with friends but did the following BY MYSELF:

Climbed Mount Sinai after a gruelling 9 hour bus trip a restless sleep on a concrete bed.

I took a 12 hour bus ride to Israel and stayed at a hostel within the walls of the Old City in Jerusalem. I climbed Masada and I swam in the dead sea. I waded in the Jordan River.

I had to flirt with an Egyptian border administrator to get back to Cairo in time for my flight home (I didn't have my passport stamped in Tel Aviv.)
As far as fame--Hmmm, my great uncle was a finance minister of Canada (my grandfather--his brother was the black sheep of the family because he married an ACTRESS (my grandmother) because she was pregnant with their love child (my mother). They never had a lot of money, but they made all of it in the Arts. My grandfather was a painter and pianist/organist and my grandmother was actually on an entertainment/news program in Detroit, as well as doing stage work. They both died before I met them.

Too funny! I'll have to tell my parents that, they love Seinfeld.

Let's see, things you might not know about me ...

    1. I was named after someone who ordered Tupperware from my mom about 5 years before she became pregnant with me.

    2. I've wanted twins since I was little!!! If I only knew how much work they would be!!

    3. I failed Chemistry and Geometry in high school but faked my report cards so my parents never found out. I was so good at it I charged other kids $50 to alter their report cards, hahaha!!!

    4. I'm not married, that's why I call him my "honey" instead of DH, or if I say DH for time's sake, I mean "Dear Honey" ... not hubbie.

    5. Now I think I'm the only one who never met anyone famous! I wrote Beverly Cleary when I was little and she wrote back, my honey lived next door to Sara Evans growing up ... my brother lives in Hollywood and works out with and sees famous people all the time. He gets enough for the both of us, I guess.

    6. I graduated high school at 16, floated around college for like 7 years as a psych major, nursing major, then switched schools and discovered baking and pastry arts!!!! I love to bake, my biscotti won a blue ribbon! My chocolate chip cookies are infamous!

    7. I used to model for a photographer and I tried out for Playboy when they came to town but I wasn't 18 (I would have been when the issue came out but not when I would have been photographed ... I never tried again and now I wish I had.
