I got a tummy tuck a few months ago....

I found out two weeks ago that I'm pregnant!!!!!! :woah: :woah: :faint: We've been dealing with infertility for 12 years and had to go through treatments to have the twins... this was a shock! I'm still in shock but today I went in for an u/s to date the pregnancy and I'm 8.5 weeks and I saw/heard the heartbeat... and I cried like a baby! :wub: I just feel so blessed and happy and of course I'm nervous but this is such a blessing. I would have loved to waited until 12 weeks to not say anything to anyone but I suck at keeping happy secrets like this!!! :yahoo: :yahoo:

I had a similar thing happen… I waited 8+ years to fix the ugly emergency C- section scar from older DS … found out twins a year later…

Having dealt w/ infertility, I can only imagine how thrilled you are. Stories like yours give me hope! DH and I did IVF/ICS and cant afford it again... I've have been hoping for a' surprise' for 4 years & counting!

Words can't even explain the joy. :blush: To some I look insane at how excited I am and anyone who's gone through it knows how miraculous :lol: this is. NEVER thought this would happen. Ever. Our twins are 4.5 and I was sure if it didn't happen immediately afterwards it wouldn't. We didn't go for treatments again because of money and all the emotions that go with it.

Congratulations!! My Sister-in-law's sister was 19 weeks when she recently found out she was pregnant with her fourth. It had taken clomid to get her pregnant in the past so when a male student asked her when she was due, she denied she was pregnant. A day or so later she tested and voila! She has PCOS so periods are not frequent. If you remember, I had 7 years of undiagnosed infertility before we got the twins with our first round of IVF. Evan surprised us 2 years later with his vanishing twin! I firmly believe that if he wasn't a twin, I would never have gotten/stayed pregnant.
