I need to say no.

A few years ago I volunteered to be on the committee that does the school's pta website. Then the school PTA created a facebook page, it was annoying me that it wasn't updated so I volunteered to take that over.  This year the PTA is trying to go paperless and is using constant contact.  No clue how I got in charge of it but I did.  This morning I emailed the PTA president asking about if she wanted me to post something about meet the teacher night.  I also mentioned that people were asking me if the class parents were notificated yet.  
 
When she replied she said both my girls classes need a class parent which class did I want, but letting me know which class she wanted me on.   I walked right into it.   At least Dani will be happy that I'm her class mom.  lol

 

Oh boy Lisa...that's a lot.  If I felt like it was too much, I'd step down from something with the excuse that this position deserves someone who could give it their all and I just cannot do that right now.  Hang in there!  I am sure Dani is thrilled you are her class parent!

 

I will suck it up and vent to you guys.  I will be sure to make sure we delegate everything.  I don't want to be the slacker or the push-over.
