Hi everyone. I am on another board but the Multiples forum just isn't very active so I was looking for something better.

Anyways, I am a 29 year old FTM carrying rainbow identical twin girls. I'm 22 weeks along. I am finishing up my last semester of college and the commencement date is the same day that I will be exactly 37 weeks. I will have my Bachelor's in Psychology. I see an MFM specialist every 2 weeks and so far both babies look great. My cervix shortened 1.5 cm in two weeks so I am kind of anxious to see what it is this week (appt. on Wednesday) It is still in the normal range though so I am not worried, just hoping it stays where it is at.

Well, sorry about the novel but I wanted to say a little more than just hi! Hope everyone is doing well and looking forward to getting to know people.

:welcome:   and congratulations on joining the world of twins!  I don't have any experience with a shortened cervix myself (I'm a freak who holds babies in forever!) but I know there are others on here who know all about it.  Good luck with the rest of your pregnancy and enjoy the forums!

    Hi Breezy!

Welcome & love that avatar.

So I had a shortened cervix at 28 weeks. I was able to work from home and do modified bed rest for the remaining 10 weeks. I also got the steroid shots as a preventative measure for that & to help with an itching condition. I did have a longer cervix with the bedrest and carried my boys until 37w5d. At 37 weeks I got up and was totally ok with them being born (maybe more than ok?!)
