It's getting to be that time...

Oy! Where did the time go? My boys will be 4 in November! I remember coming into this forum thinking 4 was a lifetime away, a different world!

I need gift ideas...
A friend gave us her explorers a couple of years ago, and I've taken them out again to see if the boys were interested in them, It's a big fat YES! However they haven't a clue how to work them. I was thinking of getting new ones this year, but wanted to make sure they were ready before I spent the money. How long did it take for your kids to get the hang of them?

What else is out there for 4yo boys?

My kids have mobigos but they got the hang of it pretty fast. I'm just sticking to 3yo games so far. Honestly they understood pretty fast how to switch from games to downloaded content etc... but I'm not sure how the explorers work.

Otherwise my son loves Imaginext stuff, and he still loves his wooden trains (tracks etc). And duplos/trios. It's what he plays with the most.
