Just the top 3?! I am a bargain hunter, I really enjoy finding cute, quality clothing at a good price. It's practically a hobby and very therapeutic.

I buy from a local consignment shop and from Goodwill - usually a trip to both near the beginning of a season.

    If new, Beall's outlet
    Children's Place/CP outlet
    Target

for splurge, one or two outfits a season: Belk's (similar to Macy's, parent company of Target)

As my girls get older, I've almost stopped Walmart clothes entirely. I enjoy shopping sales and have discovered the sale prices even at dept. stores are about the same as Walmart, for much better quality. I was having too much trouble with inconsistent sizing, pants tearing, etc. with their things.

    1. Gap
    2. Old Navy
    3. Target

I also buy a fair amount at Ross and TJMaxx, but I tend to buy Gap/Old Navy because I can order online and always have some kind of coupon or sale.
I just got the majority of their summer stuff during the Old Navy 40% off sale, so that is what we will mainly wear this summer.

I buy mostly for DS1 and then the twins wear the hand me downs. They get a few new shirts a year. My boys usually just wear jeans/t-shirts/sweatshirts.

My best friend works for Quiksilver (main office in HB) and she gets the kids clothes from time to time. Ben has four t-shirts and three button up shirts that he wears on rotation on a regular basis. Some he has had since he was 9 mos. old (2T) and he STILL wears them. They last forever!!!!!! Hmmmm, we are visiting her at work tomorrow........

Free samples Kate? I will take your hand me downs :D

    1. Once Upon a Child or hand-me-downs--I get lots of Gymboree, TCP and Gap stuff here too
    2. Target
    3. Old Navy--on sale only

I also love a great deal. I love Gymboree clothes but can't bring myself to pay their prices very often (yes, even on sale or with Gymbucks)

I love ebay too. I recently bought 3 easter outfits and they are adorable (yes, I know I only have 2 children ;) ) It stresses me out to spend $50 on a dress up outfit they will wear once.

Here are my recent scores on Ebay (pretty good deals for dress clothes, I think):
    Easter Dress #1
    Easter Outfit
    Easter Dress #2

I do 75% of my clothes shopping at end-of-season sales for the following year. It's worked out pretty well for us so far.

Kohl's (I LOVE their Sonoma brand - it's STURDY and they have great end-of-season sales)
    Gymboree
    Land's End/Target (it's a tie)
