    I Hello Everyone,

I'm sorry if I'm a bit dense; I hope I'm not the only one who feels this way, but basically I find myself a bit puzzled with all of the acronyms I come across on the boards. Please let me know if there is already a thread somewhere on this (if so, please point me in the right direction), but could anyone help me with the rundown of what all the acronyms mean?

    Thanks,

    Tamara

Not sure if there is a thread on it, but if not, maybe there should be a sticky.

    DD- dear daughter
    DS - dear son
    DH - dear husband
IUGR - intruterine growth restriction (or retardation depending on who you talk to)
TTTS - twin-to-twin transfusion syndrome (happens with identicals)

What else is confusing you? Good question.

I find that I also use ones like BTW (by the way) and kwim (know what I mean).

A lot of the Acronyms on this site are specifically pregnancy or multiple pregnancy related, so you probably won't find them on a regular internet acronym list.

I guess there is already a sticky for abbreviations. It is somewhere else on the site, so that's why I didn't know about it. I guess I primarily stick to the Expecting Forum.
