So, I have somewhat decided on the name
Silas Carl
Silas is just a name I love and Carl is a long time family name.
What do ya'll think about Silas, I love the fact that it is not a popular name, plus it sounds sweet but strong....FIL seems to think people will call him Si, pronounced Sigh...do any of you forsee that?

DH is having a tough time coming up with a name, we know it will be something Henry, another family name.....he has thought of,
Cole Henry, which I think Cole is a popular name OR
Isaac Henry, which I really like
I appreciate all honesty here, don't hold back on account of feelings........TIA!!!

I like Silas Carl. You cant predict what kids will do to one anothers names although I really dont see it being done. If you want your family to call him Silas then make it plain you want him called Silas. I had to put my foot down with my FIL when we told him we were naming our first Russell. He thought Rusty would be SO CUTE!!!!!!!!!> Like over my dead body.I said you either call him Russ or Russell and I never heard Rusty from anyone again.

Cole is quite popular right now.

I do like Isaac Henry.

I like Silas Carl and Issac Henry- very cute! I think people will call Silas "Si", but probablly not enought to make it his nickname.

 

I went to high school with a guy named Silas. He is the only one I have ever heard of with that name. We NEVER called him Si. I think it is a strong, yet sensitive man that has a name like that. The guy I went to school with was an amazing artist.

I like Isaac Henry as a companion name with Silas Carl.
