DS1 has had a persistent itch on his butt cheeks and inner thighs for weeks. Nothing seems to relieve it. I've given him baking soda baths, used Gold Bond and Nystatin, used nothing, etc.. There's not much on the skin other than a few bumps that come and go. It's usually just red and irritated from chronic itching. He talks about how itchy it is. We haven't had any recent changes such as diaper brand or laundry detergent. Any ideas about what this is or how to treat it? Thanks.

I would recomment Calmoseptine. You can buy it at pharmacies, but it is usually behind the counter. I had great luck with that stuff. It seems to clear up everything.
