We're working on PTing again and one of my boys wants to poop every time he sits down to pee. And forces some out. I'm a little concerned he's popping too much when he doesn't need to. OTOH, I do want him to continue pooping on the toilet when he needs to go.

    Thoughts?

It's just a phase while he is learning. It shouldn't hurt him. You could work on peeing standing up if it really bothers you, but honestly it's better then holding poop in!

I say go with it. We're still in a hold all day, then poop in the bedtime pull up phase so if he's going at least you know he won't be constipated!
