Ok. I have boy girl twins.. they are 2

My girl is the dominant/bossy one

she is the 'older' one by 1 minute

she is the smaller of the two (very petite) Im not sure about height its close

My twins are not any closer to eachother than they are my other children. I think its b/c the 2 older ones have always been around, so they have never just had to play with eachother.. they will hug and kiss, but not without someone prompting them..they actually dont play together all that much b/c my DD loves babies and playing mommy and her brother is a rough and tough boy.. so they play with their older sibling of the same sex more often.. I do wonder about this and if they will bond more later in life.

They didn't really start interacting until they were 9months old and now their interaction is pulling hair, head butting, biting and trying to be the one to get my attention.

No. They share that role, it changes from hour to hour.

Are your twins close/affectionate?Yes, when I'm changing one if I make her giggle the other starts to giggle too. If one cries the other one cries, I guess out of sympathy. They like to play together and even when there are other kids around they stick together. They are too young to hug or kiss yet but they will put their fingers in each other's mouths, I guess that is a way to show affection when you are 1.

No, she's actually younger. Their weights and heights are so close (even though they are fraternal) that they switch places every time they get measured.

Mostly -- seriously, yes, they are very close and affectionate, except when they're duking it out.

We have same sex twins.

The dominant twin, Riley, is actually the younger one (by a whopping 30 seconds). He does everything first and is definitely the more high maintenance of the two. Reese tends to be really laid back and very much a follower. Riley weighs less and is a tad shorter than Reese, though not by much. I would say that they're as affectionate as boys can be lol. They love to hold hands and make faces at each other. They're 14.5 months as well.

I don't know if this is a more widely applicable trend, but it seems most of the moms who posted about b/g twins said their dd is the more dominant one. I wonder why that is? Are girls just more naturally bossy? :huh:

Also, DD in the past 2 days is really helping me out so if I say give something to brother she is like a little mommy to him.
