Alright, I don't remember it being this bad with the twins. I have had so much pain in my right lower back and hip [IMG]. I was feeling a little better at lunch and probably overdid it by taking a walk (I had some errands to do). Now I am in pain again! It's been so bad for the last week or two. I see the doctor tomrorrow and will complain to her as well.

Thanks for listening to my whining [IMG].

Oh, I feel your pain! [IMG] I had sciatica bad in the first and second trimester (until I went off of work, actually.) It was so bad once that I literally couldn't get out of bed, I called my doc and they took me off of work for 4 days and scheduled P/T for it, but I cancelled that since ins. didn't cover it until my deductible was met and it was getting better.

It's no fun when you're walking and suddenly your leg gives out from under you!!!

Some things they told me that helped - laying on your back with your legs up against a couch or bed, to try and maneuver the baby off of the nerve; icing the area (NOT heating it, like I was doing); and laying on your side with pillows propped between the knees. They really did help me.

    [IMG] to you!!!!!!!!!!

Yikes. Sorry that you are in so much pain. I had it bad too, but then my doc put me on percocet (a pain narcotic) for PTL to relax my uterus. Well let me just say, that it relaxed EVERYTHING and I was finally pain free. I am guessing your doc won't go that route, but I just had to share your pain for a second!!! [IMG]

You go ahead and whine! I had problems with my sciatic nerve with my first 2 daughters... it really hurts!!! I hope it feels better for you soon.

I literally feel your pain! I am 23 weeks with my fourth and my sciatica is killing me, too. Just when I was thinking after the twins this little singleton pregnancy should be a breeze! I don't think it was this bad with my twins.

I'm going to try some of Kendra's suggestions. I had been trying heat but maybe icing will be better.

Your babies are younger than mine - it must be hard not to pick them up alot.

Hopefully the doctor will have some helpful advice for you. I'll cross my fingers you feel better soon!
