My older sister Is having ID girls sometime at the end of April. She has had one name picked out for a while, Leara Eve, for one of the girls. She asked me to ask on the forums (I'm still trying to get her to join!) two things:

how would you pronounce the name above?

    And

What would be a good second name for her other girl? She does not like twinny names and prefers not to have them start with the same letter. She loves Hannah but wants a middle name to go with it that is short like Eve. She is open to any ideas though for another first name.

    Thank you so much!

I would pronounce Leara as Lee-air-ah. (am I close to being right?)

How about Evelyn Rose for the other baby?

I love Baby Name Wizard for help in naming - especially to find names that go together well but don't match. It's www.babynamewizard.com/voyager

I would pronounce the name Lee air rah.

If she like Hannah she could do:

    Hannah Joy
    Hannah faith

I like the suggestion of Evelyn Rose

    She could also do:

    Cassandra Rose/Fatih/Joy
Michaela/Mykaila/Mckayla with those middle names as well.
Casey is another that would go those middle names.
    Avery Lynn is cute too.

    GL to your sister!

This is how I would pronounce it as well. I have a friend who named her girl Meara..and she pronounces it Mear-ah..so that is the reference I have on that.

If I saw that name on my class list--I'd ask the student first thing how to pronounce it! Meaning, I'm not sure, but if I had to try to pronounce it I'd go for Lee-ah-ra.
    I like Hannah Joy.
But I think Hannah is really common, and Leara not so much, so maybe go with a less common name for the other twin too.

    I would do Lee-air-uh also...

I'll give you my favorite - Abigail Rose, Allison Rose, but I love Rose for a middle name for little girls :)
