So glad to have found you all!

How I wish I had known about this site when I was expecting and especially when my twinkies were in the NICU! I feel like a first-time mom all over again and it is unnerving! So glad to have a place I can read and learn about what to do, what not to do, and how to handle it when I just have no clue (which is quite often during the day, lol).

 

Welcome! I have heard many parents with previous children feel like they got thrown for a loop with their multiples. This is a great group of ladies.

I LOVE your screen name by the way. There is a realtor commercial here in Canada that cracks me up every time I see it:Old Woman who lives in a shoe although that lady is probably about 50 years older than you! :lol:

I saw this on another site and thought it was hilarious so adopted "womanintheshoe" as my username. Ironically, there are 11 kiddos in the picture and I found out shortly that I was expecting #10 and #11! Thankfully I do not feel like the woman in the picture looks (well, not most days...)

 

Congrats, and welcome, you will love it here, there are lots of lovely ladies, who have brought me back to the land of sanity many a time!!!

I feel the exact same way! I wish I would have know about this when I was pregnant with my twins as well! At least we know now that we have another outlet we can use if we have any questions...it is great!

Oh my goodness!!! My twins have taught me a thing or two or a million LOL about parenting!! I though I was an expert, I already had 3 kids but boy oh boy did they and do they throw me for a loop LOL!!!

 

I keep saying I am glad my twins were not my first kids. I am overwhelmed, and I sort of felt like I knew what I was doing before. I was a little neurotic as a First-Time Mom, and I would have driven myself nuts with twins. I am a little calmer this time. More tired, but calmer.
