Since 15 weeks we have consistently gotten two different heart tones in two different places. I have also been measuring 4-6 weeks further along than my actual gestational week. I weigh the same with this pregnancy as I did my previous three. I am a little overweight but not obese.
When I had my ultrasound at 19 weeks and it only showed one baby. However, the tech said that I had "blind spots" due to my fat layer being too airy with too many surfaces areas to get a clear shot of Baby. He was unable to get a clear shot of Baby's face and head and could not finish the medical measuring because of this.
We are still getting consistent heart tones in two different places at two different rates.
What I am wondering is if it's possible to miss a baby at an ultrasound?
Please, let me know. I am 29 weeks now and having another follow ultrasound next week.
    Thanks!

I'm not sure. Did the tech repeat the U/S?
