We took Jessy to the dr today(Our clinic is open on Saturdays [IMG]). She has been wheezing, coughing and had a runny nose since Wedensday. I was worried it might be Rsv again but luckily we avioded that. What she does have is another virus much like RSV only not as serious but more contagious. It is very contagious almost every kid in the office had it! [IMG] My poor Jessy always gets [IMG] when we have plans. I sent Nana, Papa and Jazz to go see the Miss Oklahoma pagent(My cousin is running).

Hope Jessy is feeling better soon!!!!

We are all sick over here also, going on almost 3 weeks now. The runny noses are better but still lots of coughing and congestion. Also on a prescription cough medicine too. Will probably limit that to just at night soon and go back to Dimetapp during the daytime.

Yeah, mine had it for about 3 weeks. It was awful. We ended up in the ER with croup and then double ear infections from it. It sucked!!!! Hope your little ones feel better soon.

I hope she feels better soon.

I was wondering what the doctor said to do. Both of my girls are stuffed up and have a little cough. I had to find the cool mist humidifier since I had not unpacked it from my move last march.

He gave us a script of xopenex(nebulizer med) and said to keep giving her otc cough meds. We are using trimanic infant cough strips(dimatap makes Jessy sick).

Same here in Chicago! Kids came down with pink eye on Turkey day and then Alex had a 104.2 fever on Sat. He went right to wheezing but he has asthma. Emma and I have just been coughing like crazy especially when we lay down. I went to the immediate care facitlity at 3am on Thursday with an ear ache! WOW, did that hurt!

Hope we all build up oiur immune systems and are healthy for Christmas!

We have it here too. It's been going back and forth between me and the kids for about 2 weeks now. At the moment the kids are doing much better, but i have the worst of it. I'm going to the doctor tomorrow to try and nip in in the bed, before we pass it around again.

I guess that's what we had last month. It just kept holding on. Both my kids ended up with ear infections (Michael's first ever) (Only Matthew's second). Michael also ended up on breathing treatments. He never gets anything that is going around so for him to end up on breathing treatments it had to be something pretty nasty.

Same here! I posted about my kids being sick over a week ago and had to end up taking them to an acute care clinic over the holiday weekend. They were diagnosed with bronchiolitis and double ear infections... their first time being sick with anything more than a runny nose. They too were given breathing treatments and sent home with a bag full of meds! For the wheezing, they were given the liquid albuterol. Nonetheless, it all seemed to clear them up and like some of you, I'm the one who can't seem to shake the cough and congestion. I just hope I don't pass it back to the boys.
    I wish you all well!!

OMG I am so sorry so many moms and kidlets are sick. I hope everyone is recovering!

Josh ended up with pneu due to his very congested cough and fever that rose FAST at ER on TG. Poor bugger had another febrile seizure too. He was plugged full of antibiotics and was on the mend by 3-4 days. Then of course Zach got the cold/fever by Wed and dx pneu too on Thursday. So more antibiotics and he was finally on the mend by Saturday. Meanwhile we were supposed to fl to FL that day to visit my parents for a week. Needless to say we canx and rescheduled for Feb. Unfortunately FIL and my niece got the horrid cold/fever too.
