Well the girls decided to come

This past friday 7-29-11 we went in for an nst it was uneventfull my bp was fine. Came home and decided to rest everything was going normal. I was laying in bed and taking things easy and watching tv ate dinner at 5:40pm while our friend who comes over watched our son. The girls were very active just kicking and everything and i was enjoying the feeling just thinking of my little ones. At 6:55pm i thought i felt this huge kick that kinda felt weird it wasn't painfull but def. felt different from the regular kicks. More like a rubber band snapping on the inside. I thought hmm did my water just break? i was like no there was nothing leaking out and then i decided to shift my body to get up and a big woooosh and there went my water. I never knew what that felt like as my water never broke with my son. I call my husband he came home from work in about five minutes. Called my mom and my sister and we went to the hospital. Up until my water breaking i really didn't have any contractions except for while i was at the hospital which was normal. So they put me on the monitors and called my ob and they then scheduled me to have my c section at 9:30pm unfortunatly the girl across the hall needed to have an emergency c section so we got pushed back. Teagan came out first 6lbs 15oz at 11:10pm 19 3/4 inches. Amelia came out next at 11:11pm 5lbs 5oz 18 1/2inces. Teagans Apgar scores were 7/9 and Amelias were 8/9. They did need a bit of oxygen at first. But no nicu and besides normal baby things like learning to breast feed and a little jaundice they are doing great. We were in the hospital Friday night and got out Monday night. Our first night home tonight and we will see how things go. I will hopefully post pictures soon. I so was not expecting them this early but its the way it was supposed to be =) now on to the next adventure of being a twin mommy.

yeah i haven't really even taken my camera out. How sad lol but i plan on it. Its just every time i think about it i get tired at just the thought lol.

 

Get it out and keep it really close by. Like where you keep the diapers or remote. Keeping it handy'll help you take lots of pics.

thank you ladies!!!!! I love teagans cheeks they are the chubbiest. Miss Amelia needs to catch up in that department but im not sure she will ever be chunky she is more lean than her sister.
