Of course I am. I'm a mother of twins. I can tell you pretty much the cartoon schedule for the morning. Our favorite shows are The Backyardagains and Mickey Mouse Clubhouse and we know every song to the MMCH. Lifes' great being a SAHM.Especially when people ask you waht your favorite show is and it's deffinately a cartoon b/c that's all you watch...(well my boys like Regis and Kelly and The price is right...) but regardless you know what i mean.

DH and I ssssshhh any time we hear a noise in our sleep even if the girls cant hear us! We have to stop ourselves from patting each other on the back or rocking each other when we have a minute to hug. I worry I will start talking to others in baby talk. The list goes on and on... I really need to get out more

I sing the Wonder Pet, too. Also, the Backyardigans song.

My DH and I sometimes ask/tell each other when we're out in public (even those rare times when we don't have the kids with us) that we have to go "potty". Once while at a resturant without the kids, I asked the waiter where their "potty" was. He laughed and repeated "potty?".

My DH and I call each other "Daddy" and "Mama".

 

I recently realized that I know the names of Handy Manny's tools and can recite the Doodlebops Pledge. After 20 years away from watching Soap Operas, I am suddenly aware that Luke and Laura are together again...need I say more

LOL yep... I sing kiddie songs at work also, and everyone looks at me funny... HELLO I am a mom!!

 

My husband has begged me to stop him if I catch him singing the wiggles songs (especially when we are in the car). We were in the mall and my daughter (12) had the hiccups and before she thought she said (in a little too loud a voice) "This chicken has the hiccups!" She was so embarassed and I've been threatened if I tell anyone she did it.

 

Glad I am not the only one, thats forsure.. Iam always singing the wonder pets song.. or backyardagains, Stomp Stomp Stomp

I soo know what you mean...My 2 year old is in love with barney and elmo. My husband makes fun of me for watching soap operas but i tell him that my adult world and i can olny stand so many cartoons a day or i'll really go nuts.

 

Ha Ha Ha...Wonder pets ... Wonder Pets, We're on our way!!!! My DH laughs at me all the time.

I do that ALL THE TIME!!!!! In fact sometimes when I'm reading through the threads and someone asks for advice I sing : "This sewious, I have to help her..."

I love to sing along with Backyardigans and Micky Mouse Clubhouse too. Oh, and Dora and Blue's Clues. I think I like the Doodlebops more than Emma.

hot dog, hot dog, hot diggity dog...we have all gone nuts!

 

I died laughing when I saw this post - totally, the Wonder Pets and "I'm Calliou" and "Can we build it, yes we can!!".

I find myself singing these in my head while driving, in meetings at work - it always make me giggle though and my husband will just start singing the songs out of nowhere to torture me and get them stuck in my head.

Does anyone else have babies that are just enthralled with that star puppet on the Goodnight Show on Sprout?

DH, eldest (12 yo) and i all sing all sorts of themesongs, but wonderpets is definitely a favorite.

(i have been known to hum "hot diggity dog"... "we're splittin' the scene/we're full of beans")


this IS the life that most other people are trying to get to, btw enjoy!

 

Sometimes the only way to get my two to stop crying is to sing incy wincy spider!! I cant remember how many times i have done it in the shop or supermarket and not even noticed im doing it!!! x

 

I walk around whistling the Baby Einstein music all the time oh and the Caillou theme....

 

Any time you are standing in one spot, you sway from side to side like a reed in the wind. I do it all the time!!
