Are you at Risk?
All pregnant moms of multiples are at risk for pre-term labor. Here are some other risk factors you may be able to control to reduce additional chances of having pre-term labor. (Information supplied by The March of Dimes)
- Additional Risk Factors
- Stop smoking and reduce exposure to second-hand smoke
- Eliminate all alcohol from your diet during pregnancy
- Talk to your doctor about all prescription and non-prescription drugs as well as herbal remedies you may be using
- Try to reduce stress (eating regularly and nutritiously, lots of R&R and talking to loved ones could all help)
- Get help if you're in an abusive situation (physical, sexual or emotional)

- Drink at least eight glasses of water a day!
