Are you at Risk?

All pregnant moms of multiples are at risk for pre-term labor. Here are some other risk factors you may be able to control to reduce additional chances of having pre-term labor.

  • Additional Risk Factors
    • Stop smoking and reduce exposure to second-hand smoke
    • Eliminate all alcohol from your diet during pregnancy
    • Talk to your doctor about all prescription and non-prescription drugs as well as herbal remedies you may be using
    • Try to reduce stress (eating regularly and nutritiously, lots of R&R and talking to loved ones could all help)
    • Get help if you're in an abusive situation (physical, sexual or emotional)

    • Drink at least eight glasses of water a day!
