Twin Falls Idaho Free Movie Passes Contest
More information on the new movie!

Sony Picture Classics and twinstuff.com teamed up to give away free passes to the new film, Twin Falls Idaho, in selected cities across the United States in the summer of 1999.

We had ten free passes to see the movie in Los Angeles, New York, Dallas, Houston, San Francisco, and Denver. Each pass was good for free admission for you and a guest (so you can bring your twin!) for any showing (excluding weekends) during the run-of-engagement showing of the film. The passes were good at selected theaters only and seating is on a first-come, first-serve basis.

The film centers around a pair of fictional characters, the conjoined Falls Twins, Francis and Blake, and was directed, co-written and stars real-life twins Mark and Michael Polish in the lead roles. The film made its debut at the Sundance Film Festival this past winter, opened in Los Angeles and New York on Friday, July 30, and will open at selected other theaters in August (most cities will have an August 20 film opening). As of August 20, the movie is playing in New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Washington D.C., Seattle, Dallas, Houston and Boston and other selected cities.

For educational purposes, we have included a mini-quiz on conjoined twins. To win a pair of tickets, we asked folks to please fill out the below form, indicating in which city you plan on using the free tickets. The movie is rated 'R' so you have to be age 17-or-older to enter to win the tickets. We drew a first set of winners from all random entries on Thursday, August 12 and mailed out the passes to the winners.

Tickets were redeemed at the following theaters:

  • New York--Angelika Film Center, 18 West Houston, NY, NY 10012
