Facts About Multiples Page
This site is why we didn't even try to create an extensive list of multiples...Jen in Canada has already done about as comprehensive a list as you can hope to see on the Web. Check out her lists of quadruplets (3400 sets as of April, 2007), quintuplets (748 sets), and sextuplets (169 sets) in the world.

The McCaughey Septuplets
On November 19, 1997, Bobbi McCaughey of Carlisle, Iowa gave birth to the world's first set of surviving septupets, four boys and three girls. This page, maintained by the Cedar Rapids Gazette, has a thorough background on the McCaughey family with dozens of photos (although it hasn't been updated in a couple of years). The seven are now 6 - their mom is updating a weekly journal online at www.americanbaby.com.
