Twin to Twin Transfusion Syndrome Foundation
An international non-profit organization solely dedicated to providing life-saving education, emotional, and financial support to families, medical professionals, and other caregivers before, during, and after a pregnancy diagnosed with TTTS. They are dedicated to saving the babies, improving their future health and care, furthering medical research, providing NICU, bereavement, and special needs support, and keeping families together the way twins are meant to be.
Twinless Twins Support Group, International
Very worthwhile organization founded to provide support to twins and other multiples who suffer the loss of companionship of their twin through death, estrangement or in-utero loss.

Twin Hope, Inc.
Non-profit group founded in 1994 dedicated to broaden the awareness of Twin-to-Twin Transfusion Syndrome (TTTS) and other twin-related diseases.

Monoamniotic Twins Organization
Monoamniotic Twins occur in 1% or less of all twin pregnancies, are just short of being conjoined, and always identical. Currently the medical profession, upon diagnosis, gives the expecting parents of a monoamniotic pregnancy diagnosis only a 50% survival chance for both twins due to cord entanglement and compression. This web site offers some valuable information on this form of twins.

Sidelines National High Risk Pregnancy Support Network provides emotional support, resources and advocacy to women and their families experiencing a complicated or high risk pregnancy. Their Online Director is also a mom of fraternal twins.

Twins Days Festival
Official site of the Twins Days Festival in Twinsburg, Ohio. Read about the history and future of the world's largest annual gathering of twins held, appropriately enough, in a city founded by twin brothers. The Robinson Twins work hard at maintaining a nice site for the festival committee.

National Organization of Mothers of Twins Clubs
A non-profit support organization for parents of twins and other multiples. Has over 475 local clubs representing over 23,000 parents of multiples. This recently redesigned site contains some basic information on parenting twins, how to find a local club, external links and a comprehensive list of famous multiples.

Center for Study of Multiple Birth
Official Site of the Center for Study of Multiple Birth in Chicago, Illinois. The site is maintained by Dr. Louis Keith and his twin Donald Keith.

The Twins Foundation
The Twins Foundation is a non-profit, international membership organization and primary research information center on twins and other multiples that was established in 1983. It serves twins, their families, the media, medical and social scientists and the general public through its publications, its National Twin Registry and its multi-media resource center.

International Twins Association
One of the oldest groups for twins around, this organization was formed by twins in 1934. Hosts an annual convention each Labor Day in a different city.

Triples, Moms and More provides compassionate, psychosocial support as well as educational information about the uniqueness of higher order multiple pregnancies and parenting.

Founded in 1987 for parents of Supertwins (triplets and higher). Fairly thorough site for an organization which claims over 15,000 members.

Parents of Multiple Births Association (Canada)
Canada's largest organization devoted to parents of twins and other multiples. Canada boasts of 4,200 births each year of twins and other multiples, including, of course the famous identical Dionne Quintuplets, born in 1934.

Twin Research
An organization based in the UK dedicated to looking at the importance of genes in clinical traits including osteoporosis, rheumatoid arthritis, heart disease, diabetes, and asthma. Twins can register to particiapte in their studies by filling out an inquiry form on their web site.

Group founded in 1978 to assist parents in England. Over 250 local clubs are located throughout Great Britain.

to Illinois families of twins and higher order multiples through its member club affiliates.

Massachusetts Twins Registry
The Massachusetts Twin Registry at Boston University is comprised of both fraternal and identical twins who are residents of Massachusetts and who have volunteered to join the registry.

Mid-Atlantic Twins Registry
A group studying 37,000+ Twins from North Carolina, South Carolina and Maryland. Based at the Virginia Institute for Psychiatric and Behavioral Genetics in Richmond, Virginia.

The California Twin Program
The USC School of Medicine started the California Twin Project in 1992 in an ambitious undertaking to chronicle all 265,000 twins born in the Golden Bear State between 1908-82. Their web site lists some early results of the study as well as showing off their cool twin bears logo.

South Jersey Twins Club
A social organization for adult twins in the South Jersey/Philadelphia area. The club is run by the Stover Twins, Ray and Ralph.

Celebrating its 30th anniversary in 2003, this group caters to parents of multiples based in the Toronto, Ontario region.

Not really an organization per se, this site nevertheless has the most thorough information we've found on the web devoted to the scientific background on types of conjoined twins.

Reproductive Cloning Network
A reference web site containing fundamental information, scientific statistics and links relevant to the science of reproductive cloning. The RCN is an affiliate of the Human Cloning Network. This is a good starting point for all identical twins (DNA clones) to learn more about their scientific cousins.
