A

  • Abraham, Spencer - Former U.S. Senator (Michigan) and Secretary of Energy under President George W. Bush. Founded the Abraham Group, an international strategic consulting group based in Washington D.C. after retiring as U.S. Energy Secretary in 2005. Father of twin daughters, Emily and Betsy
  • Albright, Madeleine - First U.S. female Secretary of State after being appointed by President Clinton. Also has served as U.S. representative to United Nations. Has grown twin daughters, Anne and Alice, born in 1961. One unverified online reference claims her daughters were six weeks premature so she took a course in Russian as a distraction and was fluent in the language by the time they left the hospital
  • Ali, Lalia and Conway, Curtis - Ali, a step-sister to twin girls, also became a step-mom to 12-year-old twin boys, Cameron and Kelton, after marrying former NFL wide receiver Curtis Conway in 2007
  • Ali, Muhammad - One of world's most recognizable athletes, the former heavyweight boxing champion had twin girls, Rasheeda and Jamilla, born in 1970, to his second wife Belinda.   • Astor, Brooke - (born May 14, 1953) - New York philanthropist (still alive at age 105!) who is the grandmother of twin sons, Alexander and Phillip Marshall. A legal battle between one of the twin grandchildren, Phillip, and his father, Broadway producer Anthony Marshall, over the assets of their grandmother was settled in court in 2006

  • Bach, Johann Sebastian - (born Feb. 13, 1713) - Composer had boy-girl twins, who both died shortly after birth. Johann Sebastian's father, Johann Ambrosius, was also a composer as was his father's twin, Johann Christophe
  • Barbeau, Adrienne - (born March 17, 1997) - Actress (Maude) and mother of twin boys, Walker and William. The twins' father is actor/writer Billy Van Zandt and their uncle is rocker Steve Van Zandt
  • Barnes, Peter - British playwriter (The Ruling Class) and TV miniseries writer (Merlin) who fathered triplets at the age of 70. His triplets Abigail, Zachary and Nathaniel were born in 2002. Barnes died in July, 2004

  • Blades, H.B. - Linebacker who played collegiately at the University of Pittsburgh and who was drafted in the 6th round of the 2007 NFL Draft by the Washington Redskins. Son of former NFL player and All-Pro Bennie Blades and had two uncles play in NFL as well. Has twin girls born in Jan., 2005
  • Blocker, Dan - Actor (Bonanza) who had identical twin girls, Debra and Danna
  • Bloom, David - NBC news reporter/anchor (Weekend Today Show) who died tragicially in Iraq while covering the war on April 5, 2003. Had girl twins, Nicole and Christine
  • Blum, Geoff - (born May 3, 2005) - MLB player who has played for five teams in a nine-year career (entering 2007). He and his wife had triplet girls named Ava, Audrey and Kayla . Five months after the birth of his triplets, Blum hit a memorable 14th-inning home run that lifted the Chicago White Sox to a 7-5 win over the Houston Astros in Game 3 of the World Series
  • Blum, Scott - Founder of Buy.Com. Lives in Jackson Hole, Wyoming with his wife Audrey and their twins
  • Boeheim, Jim - Long-time Syracuse men's basketball coach who was inducted into Basketball Hall of Fame in 2005. Led Orange to 2003 NCAA Basketball Championship. Has boy-girl twins, Jack and Jamie, born in 2000

  • Budd-Pieterse, Zola - Distance runner best remembered for collision with Mary Decker at '84 Olympics. Has fraternal twins Michael and Azelle
  • Bunning, Jim - A United States Senator representing Kentucky since 1999 and MLB Hall of Famer who pitched a Perfect Game on Father's Day, 1964. Has two sets of twins (Jim and Joan, and David and Andy) among his nine children. Also has 35 grandchildren (as of 2007)
  • Bush, George W. and Laura - (born Nov. 25, 1981) - 43rd President of the United States and First Lady are parents to fraternal twin girls, Barbara and Jenna. The Bush Twins graduated from Yale (Barbara) and the University of Texas (Jenna) and stayed fairly much out of the headlines during their father's Presidency except for a couple of news items involving underage drinking.
  • Byrne, Nicky and Georgina - (born April 20, 2007) - Known as the first couple of Ireland, the father is a popular musician (Westlife) and the mother the daughter of Ireland's prime minister. Their boy-boy twins are Rocco and Jay. The twins' aunt is novelist Cecilia Ahern.

  • Cahoon, Ben - Football player for the Montreal Alouettes in the Canadian Football League (CFL) who has twin daughters, Kylee and Camri, born in 2000. Is a wide receiver originally from BYU and ranks in the top-ten career list for receptions in the CFL
  • Campbell, Larry Joe - (born March 31, 2004) - Actor (According to Jim) who along with wife Peggy, have boy/girl twins, Maxwell and Madelyn. The twins birth was featured on the TLC show, A Baby Story
  • Carmichael, Ricky - (born March 16, 2007) - Motorcross racer and dad of twins, Kaden and Elise

  • Champion, Will - (born May 7, 2008 - Coldplay drummer who had boy/girl twins, Rex and Juno, with wife Marianne in 2008
  • Chones, Jim - (born March 14, 1984) - Former NBA star who has triplet sons who all played collegiate basketball (Kendall and Kyle will be seniors in 07-08 at Colgate University, and Kameron Chones played at Brown University). He also has two older daughters who both played collegiate basketball as well, Kareeda now works for the Milwaukee Bucks and Kaayla also played briefly in the WNBA
  • Cleary, Beverly - Prolific children's writer (Ralph Mouse, Ramona, Henry Huggins) who is the mom of adult twins, Marianne Elisabeth and Malcolm James
  • Coker, Larry - Former head football coach of the University of Miami Hurricanes. Has twin grandsons, Daniel and Dillon Goldmann, born in 2001
  • Cole, Nat King - (born Sept. 26, 1961) -Singer had twin daughters (Timolin and Casey); their older sister is singer Natalie Cole
  • Combs, Sean (P. Diddy) - (born Dec. 21, 2006) Combs and girlfriend Kim Porter had twin girls D'Lila Star and Jessie James Combs in late, 2006. Combs, a Grammy-award winning musician, record mogul and actor, is one of the wealthier parents of twins with an estimated worth of well over $300 million dollars.
  • Cook, Dennis - (born Feb. 26, 1998) - Former baseball pitcher (15 years with nine different teams) and dad of triplets, Asher, Dawson and Mckenzie
  • Cooper (Duke), Cynthia - (born June 15, 2002) - Women's basketball player who quit playing in 2004 after becoming mom of twins, Brian Jr. and Cyan. Used surrogate mom. Now the head women's basketball coach at Prairie View A&M University
  • Cosby, Mark - President of full-line stores of Sears and basically heads all merchandise decisions for that conglomerate. Father of unknown gender twins
  • Cowan, Claudia - Fox News Channel reporter and daughter of actress Barbara Rush. She and husband Scott Baker have twins Ben and Sabrina who were born in Jan. 2003
  • Crawford, Joan - (born Jan. 13, 1947) - Legendary actress whose maternal skills were dramatically and negatively displayed in the movie Mommy Dearest adopted twin daughters Cindy and Cathy the summer they were born to a Tennessee woman who died a week after their birth. Crawford would often tell people the girls were not twins but later articles indicate both daughters loved their adopted mother
  • Crosby, Bing - Singer/Actor had twin sons (Dennis and Phillip, born in 1935). Dennis committed suicide in 1991
  • Cross, Marcia - (born Feb. 20, 2007) - TV Actress (Desperate Housewives, Melrose Place) who became mom of twin girls Eden and Savannah at age 44
  • Crowe, Cameron and Wilson, Nancy - (born Jan. 23, 2000) - Crowe is writer/director of such films as Jerry Maguire and Almost Famous; Wilson was in rock group Heart with sister Ann. Their twin boys are William and Curtis
  • Cuomo, Andrew and Kennedy, Kerry - (born Jan. 11, 1995) - New York Attorney General (son of ex-New York Governor, Mario Cuomo) and ex-wife, Kerry Kennedy (daughter of former U.S. Attorney General Robert Kennedy) have twin daughters, Mariah Matilda Kennedy and Cara Ethel Kennedy Cuomo. Andrew Cuomo also served as U.S. Secretary of H.U.D. under President Clinton (1997-2001)

  • Damon, Johnny - (born Apr. 28, 1999) - New York Yankees outfielder and father of boy/girl twins Jackson and Madelyn. Their birth shook him out of a deep slump and put him on a 13-game hitting streak in 1999. Divorced their mom and has since remarried
  • Darling, Helen - (born Apr. 16, 2002) - WNBA point guard who had triplets (sons Jalen and Jamal, and daughter, Aaliyah) shortly before the start of her 2002 season. After taking off 2002 season, she returned to the court and began the 2007 season with her 4th team in her 7th pro season
  • Davi, Robert - (born Jan. 11, 2001) - Veteran TV and Movie tough/bad guy (The Profiler, Diehard, License to Kill, The Goonies) who is the father of twins Isabella and Nicholas
  • Davis, Antonio - 10-year NBA veteran and former President of NBA Players Association who is father of boy/girl twins, Antonio, Jr. and Kaela. Suspended on Jan. 18, 2006 after chasing fan in stands who Davis claims was using inappropriate language around one of his twins
  • Davis, Geena - (born May 6, 2004) - Oscar-winning actress (Accidental Tourist) who delivered boy-boy twins at the age of 47. Their names are Kian William and Kaiis Steven
  • Dayne, Taylor - Singer ("Love Will Lead You Back, Beautiful") and mom of boy/girl twins, Levi and Astaria, who were six in March, 2008. Twins were delivered by a surrogate and a People Magazine interview with the mom mentioned how they were from a sperm donation
  • Deadmarsh, Adam - (born Feb. 9, 1991) - Retired NHL player who has twin daughters, Alexis and Madison
  • Dempsey, Patrick - (born Feb. 1, 2007) - TV Actor (Gray's Anatomy) and dad of boy twins, Darby and Sullivan

  • Doohan, James - Late Star Trek ('Scotty') actor had twin boys, Montgomery and Christopher, born in 1959. They appeared as extras in the first Star Trek movie. Doohan also had a single child at age 80 in the year 2000. Doohan passed away at age 85 on July 20, 2005

  • Edwards, Blue - (born Oct. 22, 1997) - Former 10-year NBA player who is the father of twin girls, Britny and Whitny, who are considered collegiate prospects to follow their father's footsteps and will be seniors in 07-08 at Providence Day High School in Charlotte, NC. The Edwards Twins have helped lead their school to three straight state championships
  • Eichelberger, Dave - (born Oct. 22, 1997) - Senior PGA Golfer who had twins Emalia and Davis 28 years after birth of first child
  • Ellie, Mario and Gaston, Gina - Mario Ellie played basketball in the NBA for 11 years, winning three NBA Champonships (two with the Houston Rockets and one with the San Antonio Spurs). He also has been an NBA assistant coach with the Golden State Warriors. Gina Gaston is a news anchor for the ABC-TV affiliate in Houston. They have triplets, Glenn, Gaston and Laura
  • Ellsworth, Percy - (born August 10, 2000) - Six-year NFL cornerback (1996-2001) who is the father of twin daughters, Christiana and Seana
  • Engler, John - (born Nov. 13, 1994) - Ex-Governor of Michigan (1991-2003) who is the father of triplet daughters, Madeleine, Margaret and Hannah. The triplets mom, Michelle, is on the Board of Directors of Freddie Mac
  • Ensberg, Morgan - (born Jan. 4, 2006) - Baseball All-Star (2005) who is the father of twin boys, Beckett and Chase. Ensberg was traded from the Houston Astros to San Diego Padres on July 31, 2007
  • Etheridge, Melissa - (born Oct. 17, 2006) - Grammy-winning singer who along with her partner, Tammy Lynn Michaels, has boy/girl twins, Johnnie Rose and Miller Stephen. The twins biological mother is Michaels and the father was an anonymous sperm donor

  • Faison, Donald - Actor (Scrubs, Clueless) and father of twins, Kaya and Dade
  • Farrow, Mia and Andre Previn - Movie actress and composer had B/G twins in 1970 (Matthew and Sascha)
  • Fenty, Adrian - One of the United States' youngest mayors, this dad of twin sons, Matthew and Andrew (born in 2000), is the head politician in Washington D.C., assuming the Mayorial position in 2007
  • Finsterwald, Don - (born May 16, 1957) - 12-time PGA Tour winner (including 1958 PGA Championship). Has boy/girl twins, John and Jane
  • Fisher, Derek - NBA veteran who has infant boy/girl twins, Tatum and Drew. Tatum has been diagnosed with retinoblastoma, a rare type of cancer that affects the eye and her dad missed some playoff games during the 2007 playoffs so he could be by his daughter's side.   • Frederickson, Dennis - Long-time Minnesota State Senator (1980-present) who is father of adult male/female twins. Influential in getting a Twins Educational Law passed in Minnesota in 2005

  • Gaffney, Dean - British TV star (Eastenders) has twin girls with his girlfriend
  • Garcetti, Gil - (born Nov. 16, 2002) - Former Los Angeles District Attorney (lead prosecutor in O.J. Simpson trial) who has taught at Harvard and displayed his photography since ending D.A. career in 2002. His daughter, Dana Boldt, has twin sons
  • Garciaparra, Nomar and Hamm, Mia - (born March 28, 2007) - Athletes (she's an Olympic Soccer star, he's an MLB All-Star) who welcomed twin girls right before the 2007 baseball season began

  • Jackson, Andrew W. - 7th President of the United States (1829-37), he and his wife Rachel never had children of their own, but in early 1809 adopted Andrew, Jr., one of twin boys borne to Elizabeth and Severin Donelson in December, 1808. Andrew Jackson Jr. remained close to his twin brother, Thomas Jefferson Donelson, their entire lives despite being raised by different families

  • Karamanlis, Kostas - (born June 13, 2003) - Prime Minister of Greece. He and his wife, Dr. Natasa Pazaïti, have boy/girl twins, Alexandros and Aliki. His Uncle, Constantine Karamanlis, was the President of Greece from 1980-85 and again from 1990-95 while also serving as Prime Minister from 1955-63 and again from 1974-80
  • Kennedy, Joseph P, II - (born Oct. 4, 1980) - Former U.S. Rep from Mass. from 1987-99 and the eldest son of the late Robert F. Kennedy. Has twin sons Joe and Matt, with ex-wife Sheila Rauch. That marriage was annulled by the Catholic Church but that annullment may be reversed by the Catholic Church.
