Safe Sandbox?
My husband, Paul, and I are in the midst of some major backyard planning for our twosome. Bouncing around in our heads (and slowly making their way to paper and then to fruition) are ideas for a play house, sandbox, swings, and countless other toys that we hope to build or buy over the next few years. The biggest obstacle in our dreams is money- this stuff ain’t cheap! Sandboxes and swing will wait while a playhouse is built this summer.
Imagine our excitement (because, seriously, I don’t think my girls were excited like we were excited) when Paul found a lidded sandbox under our shed! One sunny afternoon of scrubbing and it was as good as new. Just a few days later Paul told me that he picked up some sand and that we could present our new toy to Alexis and Samantha that weekend.
